Tree Service, Lawn Care & Pest Control in Clarendon Hills

Clarendon Hills is small, walkable, and tree-rich — which is exactly why proactive plant health care matters so much here. A single untreated ash or a missed grub application can change the look of an entire block, and homeowners notice. A Clarendon Hills yard that falls a season behind in Chicagoland is hard to bring back without the right plan.

That's where we come in. Joshua Tree Experts in Clarendon Hills handles the full picture: tree care that respects how oaks and maples grow in our Midwest clay loam, lawn programs built around the cool-season grasses that actually thrive here, and pest control that keeps Japanese beetles and mosquitoes off your property. Our local crew knows what Clarendon Hills yards need across every season — from early-April pre-emergent through the heat of summer and into fall cleanup.

Let's walk your Clarendon Hills property and put together a real plan.

Helping Clarendon Hills Residents Care
For Yards They Love

Around Clarendon Hills, the yards that hold up year after year are the ones where the soil, the timing, and the treatments all line up. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control built for Chicagoland.

ISA-Certified Tree Services

Chicagoland trees grow in tough conditions — emerald ash borer (EAB), Dutch elm disease, Japanese beetles, and bark splitting from harsh Midwest winters. Our tree services in Clarendon Hills include expert tree trimming done at the right time of year — which, for ash and our native oaks, matters more than most homeowners realize. We focus on removing weak and crossing limbs, opening up airflow, and protecting your trees from the issues that actually show up in this region.

Whether your Clarendon Hills yard has white oak, sugar maple, and American elm, or some mix of all of them, the goal is the same on a Clarendon Hills property: trees that get healthier each year, not weaker. Our certified arborists handle every piece, including:

  • Tree trimming, timed to dormancy when possible
  • Tree removal
  • Deep-root fertilization tuned for our Midwest clay loam
  • Insect and disease management
  • Cabling & bracing for older oaks and storm-loaded limbs
  • Storm damage cleanup after Midwest winter storms

It's the difference between Clarendon Hills trees that quietly decline and trees that thrive on the same lot for decades.

Clarendon Hills Lawn Care Programs

Kentucky bluegrass, Perennial ryegrass, and Turf-type tall fescue are the typical mix on Clarendon Hills lawns, and each behaves differently in our clay loam and humid summer heat. What works in May can fall apart by August if the program isn't dialed in. Our lawn care programs are built around the cool-season grasses growing here:

  • Soil testing and custom fertilization tuned to Midwest clay loam
  • Aeration and overseeding timed to our growing season
  • Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for Chicagoland (the first round goes down in early April)
  • Grub and billbug management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here

Year after year, this is what keeps Clarendon Hills lawns dense, green, and ahead of the weeds.

Licensed Pest Control Services

Japanese beetles defoliating roses and lindens by July. Mosquitoes after every summer rain. Wasps and yellowjackets that show up by August. Chicago pest pressure runs from spring through late fall on a Clarendon Hills property, and a one-time spray won't keep up with it. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your home and treat the source, not just what you can see crawling around. Here's what's included:

  • Perimeter barrier treatments around your home's foundation
  • Japanese beetle and wasp suppression through summer
  • Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
  • Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year

On a Clarendon Hills lot, this is the difference between fighting the pressure all summer and barely noticing it.

Franchise Owners,
Adam Antol & Jay Jorbin

Adam and Jay have been work colleagues, friends, and business partners for 20 years. Both grew up in the Chicagoland area and call the northern suburbs their home. Unsurprisingly, they share common interests: spending time with family, being outdoors, and rooting for their favorite baseball teams (Adam is a White Sox fan, while Jay cheers for the Cubs).

Adam has a diverse professional history. He spent 25 years with multiple Fortune 50 companies and managed his family’s real estate and construction businesses before embarking on his Joshua Tree Experts journey. Even though he is a self-proclaimed workaholic, he loves spending time with his wife, son and daughter.

Jay spent 20 years in the Corporate world, but always had the “entrepreneurial itch.” Spending as much free time in nature as possible, Joshua Tree Experts was the perfect fit to combine his passions of environmentalism and community engagement. He has been happily married for 15 years and loves coaching little league for his three sons.

Both Adam and Jay are extremely excited to service the northern suburbs of Chicago and are eager to provide superior tree care services for their community.
