Joshua Tree Experts in Lafayette
Tree Services, Lawn Care & Pest Control Services
Newer Lafayette landscaping fighting wind and rocky soil. A bluegrass lawn struggling through summer drought. Wasps everywhere by August. Around Lafayette, the Front Range weather and soil expose every shortcut a yard ever skipped.
That's where Joshua Tree Experts comes in. Our Lafayette crew handles the full picture: tree care that respects spruces and cottonwoods on our alkaline Front Range soil, a cool-season grasses lawn program that thrives in our climate, and pest control that keeps wasps and box elder bugs off the property. We know what Lafayette yards need across every season — from late-April pre-emergent through the heat of summer and into fall cleanup.
Let's sit down, look at your Lafayette yard, and tell you what we'd actually do.

Keeping Your Lafayette Property Healthy
Healthy Lafayette yards in the north Denver metro come from three things lining up: the soil, the season, and the treatments. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control built around exactly that.
ISA-Certified Tree Services
The Front Range is hard on trees — alkaline soil, intense Colorado drought stress, late spring snowstorms that snap leafed-out branches, and emerald ash borer pressure on green ash. Our tree services in Lafayette include expert tree trimming done at the right time of year, especially for aspens and our native spruces. We work to remove weak and crossing limbs, open up airflow, and protect your canopy from the threats that actually show up in the Front Range.
Your Lafayette trees should be adding value to the property, not creating stress. Our certified arborists handle every part of caring for the species we see most across Lafayette — blue spruce, quaking aspen, and plains cottonwood — including:
- Tree trimming, timed to dormancy when possible
- Tree removal
- Deep-root fertilization for alkaline-soil deficiencies like iron chlorosis
- Insect and disease management
- Cabling & bracing for older cottonwoods and storm-loaded limbs
- Storm damage cleanup after Front Range hail and wind events
It's the difference between Lafayette trees that quietly decline and trees that thrive on the same lot for decades.
Lafayette Lawn Care Programs (Coming Soon)
A great Lafayette lawn isn't an accident. Kentucky bluegrass, Tall fescue, Perennial ryegrass, and Buffalograss each behave differently in our alkaline soil and dry summer heat — and what works in May can fall apart by August if the program isn't dialed in. Our lawn care programs are built around the cool-season grasses growing here, the time of year, and what your specific yard is dealing with:
- Soil testing and custom fertilization (alkaline soil throws nutrient uptake out of balance — testing matters)
- Aeration and overseeding timed to our growing season
- Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for the Front Range (the first round goes down in late April)
- Billbug and grub management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here
Done right, the Lafayette lawn becomes the easiest part of the property to keep up with.
Licensed Pest Control Services (Coming Soon)
Pest control on a Lafayette property shouldn't be reactive. Wasps and yellowjackets that show up by August. Box elder bugs swarming siding by mid-October. Spiders that appear when temperatures drop. Colorado pest pressure is seasonal but real, and once the pressure shows up, you're already behind. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your home and stay ahead of the season:
- Perimeter barrier treatments around your home's foundation
- Wasp and stinging-insect suppression through summer
- Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
- Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year
On a Lafayette property, you'll get year-round protection with treatments that actually hold up in our climate.

A Company Local To You
On a Lafayette property, the work is only as good as the people doing it. Our specialists know Lafayette soil, our climate, our pest pressure, and the species growing in your yard inside and out. There's a real difference between a national chain rolling through with a generic program and a local team that's spent years figuring out what works in this part of Colorado.
What Lafayette homeowners get with us is the opposite of the franchise-grade upsell experience: a clear plan, transparent pricing, and a local team that actually shows up when they say they will.
