Joshua Tree Experts in Coppell, TX

Tree Service, Lawn Care & Pest Control in
Coppell

An older Coppell yard not living up to the neighborhood. Crape myrtles that haven't been pruned right in years. A lawn that browns out by August. North Texas demands more from a yard than most homeowners realize, and a Coppell property that misses a season carries the wear into the next one.

That's where Joshua Tree Experts comes in. Our Coppell crew handles the full picture: tree care that respects oaks and elms on our heavy clay soil, a warm-season grasses lawn program that thrives in our climate, and pest control that keeps fire ants and mosquitoes off the property. We know what Coppell yards need across every season — from late-winter pre-emergent through the heat of August and into fall cleanup.

Let's get your yard looking like the one you've been picturing.

Helping Coppell Residents Care
For Yards They Love

Keeping a Coppell yard healthy in North Dallas comes down to three things: knowing the soil, timing the work to our climate, and using treatments that fit what's actually growing here. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control to keep your property looking its best year-round:

ISA-Certified Tree Services

North Texas trees grow in tough conditions — alkaline blackland-prairie clay, summer drought stress, and the constant threat of oak wilt across our native oak population. Our tree services in Coppell include expert tree trimming done at the right time of year — which, for live oaks and red oaks here, matters more than most homeowners realize. We focus on removing weak and crossing limbs, opening up airflow, and protecting your trees from the issues that actually show up in this region.

Most Coppell properties carry some mix of live oak, post oak, Shumard red oak, cedar elm, pecan, bald cypress, crape myrtle, and each species needs a slightly different approach. Our certified arborists handle the full picture, including:

  • Tree trimming, timed to avoid oak wilt risk
  • Tree removal
  • Fertilization for alkaline-soil deficiencies like iron chlorosis
  • Insect and disease management
  • Cabling & bracing for older live oaks and post oaks
  • Storm damage cleanup after North Texas thunderstorms and ice events

When the work is timed right, your Coppell trees do the rest of the job themselves.

Coppell Lawn Care Programs

Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Zoysia are the typical mix on Coppell lawns, and each behaves differently in our clay soil and summer heat. What works in May can fall apart by August if the program isn't dialed in. Our lawn care programs are built around the warm-season grasses growing here:

  • Soil testing and custom fertilization (alkaline soil throws nutrient uptake out of balance — testing matters)
  • Aeration to break up compacted clay
  • Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for North Texas (the first round goes down in late February)
  • Grub and chinch bug management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here

When the calendar is right, your Coppell lawn takes care of itself the rest of the year.

Licensed Pest Control Services

Pest control on a Coppell property shouldn't be reactive. Mosquitoes that show up after every rain. Fire ants taking over the yard. Ticks waiting wherever the lawn meets the trees. North Texas pest pressure runs nearly year-round, and once the pressure shows up, you're already behind. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your home and stay ahead of the season:

  • Perimeter barrier treatments around your home's foundation
  • Fire ant control and stinging-insect suppression
  • Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
  • Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year

Done right on a Coppell property, you'll stop noticing the pressure that used to define every summer.

A Company Local To You

What separates our crews on a Coppell property from the chain trucks is the time we've spent here specifically. Our specialists know Coppell's soil, our climate, our pest pressure, and the species growing in your yard inside and out — not the version that shows up in a national checklist.

We tell you what we're going to do on your Coppell yard, we do it, and we tell you what we did. Pricing is upfront. There's no upsell pressure and no mystery charges — just honest local work you can count on.

Franchise Owner, Chris Burnett

For Chris Burnett, caring for North Texas trees is personal.

Born and raised in Flower Mound, Chris is now raising his own family in the same community that shaped him. The neighborhoods and tree-lined streets he grew up around are the very ones he now works to protect and enhance.

After earning his degree in Agriculture from Texas A&M University, Chris built a career rooted in professionalism and leadership before returning home to launch Joshua Tree Experts – North Dallas. His mission is simple: serve his neighbors with integrity and elevate the standard of tree care in the community he loves.

Chris specializes in proper pruning, proactive plant health care, storm preparation, and, when necessary, safe and professional tree removals. His approach blends agricultural science with hands-on experience and a deep respect for the challenges North Texas trees face.

When he’s not serving clients, Chris is coaching travel baseball, spending time with his wife—his high school sweetheart—and their four children, or wrangling one of their three dogs: Ranger, Rosie, or Pudge.

This isn’t just a business. It’s stewardship.

“Strong trees build strong communities. We’re here to protect both.”

Joshua Tree Experts – North Dallas proudly serves Flower Mound and nearby communities, including Highland Village, Lewisville, Coppell, and Grapevine.
