Joshua Tree Experts in Oldsmar, FL
Tree Services, Lawn Care & Pest Control Services
Older Oldsmar property with mature trees. A lawn fighting Tampa Bay humidity. Mosquitoes and no-see-ums after every Gulf breeze. Around Oldsmar, the Gulf Coast of Florida weather and soil expose every shortcut a yard ever skipped.
That's the work we handle for Oldsmar homeowners. Joshua Tree Experts brings tree care tuned to how live oaks and sabal palms grow in our sandy Gulf Coast soil, lawn programs built around the warm-season grasses that thrive here, and pest control that keeps fire ants and mosquitoes off your property. Every Oldsmar yard gets the calendar it actually needs — from early-February pre-emergent through the long warm season and into hurricane-season cleanup.
Let's get your Oldsmar yard back to where it should be.

Keeping Oldsmar Yards Vibrant
Healthy Oldsmar yards in the North Tampa Bay area come from three things lining up: the soil, the season, and the treatments. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control built around exactly that.
ISA-Certified Tree Services
Trees on the Gulf Coast of Florida carry real pressure — extreme summer humidity, sandy Gulf Coast soils that drain too fast, hurricane and tropical-storm wind damage, and pine bark beetle pressure on slash pines. Our Oldsmar tree services include expert tree trimming done in the right window — for live oaks and sabal palms here, the timing matters more than most homeowners realize. We focus on weak and crossing limbs, canopy airflow, and the issues that actually show up in this region.
The species we see most across Oldsmar yards — southern live oak, sabal palm, slash pine, southern magnolia, bald cypress, sweetgum, red maple, crape myrtle, yaupon holly — each carry their own pruning windows and pest pressures. Our certified arborists handle every part of the work, including:
- Tree trimming, timed to the pre-hurricane window when possible
- Tree removal
- Deep-root fertilization tuned for sandy Gulf Coast soil
- Insect and disease management
- Cabling & bracing for older live oaks and storm-loaded limbs
- Storm damage cleanup after Gulf Coast tropical-storm events
On an Oldsmar property, the difference shows up in canopy density, leaf color, and the weight on the limbs.
Oldsmar Lawn Care Programs (Coming Soon)
Your Oldsmar lawn lives or dies by what gets done in the first 60 days of the growing season. St. Augustine, Bahiagrass, Zoysia, and Centipede each behave differently in our sandy soil and Gulf Coast humidity, and what works in May can fall apart by August if the program isn't dialed in. Our lawn care programs stay on that calendar:
- Soil testing and custom fertilization tuned to fast-draining sandy soil
- Aeration and overseeding timed to our long growing season
- Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for the Gulf Coast of Florida (the first round goes down in early February)
- Chinch bug and grub management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here
Done in the right order, this is what keeps an Oldsmar lawn ahead of the heat all summer.
Licensed Pest Control Services (Coming Soon)
Pest pressure on an Oldsmar property is seasonal, predictable, and unforgiving. Mosquitoes that show up the day after every rain. Fire ants in every flower bed by July. Roaches that don't take a season off. Florida pest pressure runs nearly year-round. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your home and treat harborage areas before pests build up:
- Perimeter barrier treatments around your home's foundation
- Fire ant and mosquito suppression year-round
- Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
- Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year
On an Oldsmar lot, this is the difference between fighting the pressure all summer and barely noticing it.
