Helping Mooresville Residents Care
For YardsThey Love
Around Mooresville, the yards that hold up year after year are the ones where the soil, the timing, and the treatments all line up. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control built for central Indiana.
ISA-Certified Tree Services
Trees on a Mooresville property face a specific set of pressures every year — emerald ash borer (EAB), oak wilt, Japanese beetles, and bark splitting from freeze-thaw cycles. Our tree services in Mooresville handle all of it: expert tree trimming in the right window, structural shaping, and protection from the issues that actually show up in central Indiana (especially on ash and our native oaks).
Across Mooresville, the trees on most properties come down to white oak, tulip poplar, and sugar maple. Each gets handled differently. Our certified arborists tune the work to the species, including:
- Tree trimming, timed to dormancy when possible
- Tree removal
- Deep-root fertilization tuned for our central Indiana clay
- Insect and disease management
- Cabling & bracing for older oaks and storm-loaded limbs
- Storm damage cleanup after Midwest thunderstorms and ice events
On a Mooresville property, the difference shows up in canopy density, leaf color, and the weight on the limbs.
Mooresville Lawn Care Programs
Most Mooresville lawns are some mix of Kentucky bluegrass, Perennial ryegrass, and Turf-type tall fescue, and each grass behaves differently in our clay soil and humid summer heat. What looks great in May can fall apart by August if the program isn’t dialed in. Our lawn care programs stay on the cool-season grasses calendar that actually keeps Mooresville turf healthy:
- Soil testing and custom fertilization tuned to central Indiana clay
- Aeration and overseeding timed to our growing season
- Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for central Indiana (the first round goes down in early April)
- Grub and billbug management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here
With the right service at the right time, we help your lawn grow thick, green, and healthy. No guesswork; we’ll create results you can see.
Licensed Pest Control Services
Pest pressure on a Mooresville property is seasonal, predictable, and unforgiving. Japanese beetles defoliating roses and lindens by July. Mosquitoes after every summer rain. Wasps and yellowjackets that show up by August. Indiana pest pressure runs from spring through late fall. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your home and treat harborage areas before pests build up:
- Perimeter barrier treatments around your home’s foundation
- Japanese beetle and wasp suppression through summer
- Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
- Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year
Done on a real schedule, perimeter pest control quietly does its job in the background of every Mooresville yard.

Franchise Owner, Matt Hamm
Matt Hamm has worked in the pharmacy industry for three decades. Now, in addition to offering healing services to people, he is trying his hand at healing trees.
Hamm has been a part owner in his pharmacy for years and has enjoyed many aspects of business ownership, but he was keen to learn something new and subsidize his retirement fund at the same time. Franchising wasn’t Hamm’s first thought, but he spoke to a friend of his who happens to be a franchise broker. After hearing about the benefits of the franchise model, Hamm decided to look into potential opportunities. He researched several brands, but kept coming back to Joshua Tree Experts, the emerging tree care franchise.
“I loved that it felt like three franchises in one. There are multiple streams of revenue with tree service, lawn care and pest control,” he said. Hamm also felt that the corporate team put a lot of trust in him and welcomed him with open arms, making him feel confident and supported in his new business (which currently covers three large territories). Hamm was drawn to the stability of the model, but he also was interested in the brand’s emphasis on tree care.
“The brand doesn’t just go and cut down trees. They specialize in tree preservation, which is something I really appreciate,” he said. He looks forward to offering services in the southside and westside regions of Indianapolis, IN.
