Joshua Tree Experts in Missouri City

Tree Care, Lawn Care & Pest Control Services

Mature Missouri City pecans dropping more than you can rake. A St. Augustine lawn struggling in heavy gumbo clay. Termites a constant concern. The Gulf Coast demands more from a yard than most homeowners realize, and a Missouri City property that misses a season carries the wear into the next one.

That's the work we handle for Missouri City homeowners. Joshua Tree Experts brings tree care tuned to how oaks and magnolias grow in our heavy gumbo clay, lawn programs built around the warm-season grasses that thrive here, and pest control that keeps fire ants and mosquitoes off your property. Every Missouri City yard gets the calendar it actually needs — from mid-February pre-emergent through the heat of August and into hurricane-season cleanup.

Let's get your yard looking like the one you've been picturing.

Maintaining Missouri City Homeowners'
Outdoor Spaces

Keeping a Missouri City yard healthy in Fort Bend County and the Cypress corridor comes down to three things: knowing the soil, timing the work to our climate, and using treatments that fit what's actually growing here. We offer full-service tree care, lawn care, and pest control to keep your property looking its best year-round.

ISA-Certified Tree Services

The Gulf Coast is hard on trees — extreme summer heat, Houston's heavy gumbo clay that holds water and stresses roots, and oak wilt across our native oak population. Our tree services in Missouri City include expert tree trimming done at the right time of year, especially for live oaks and water oaks here. We work to remove weak and crossing limbs, open up airflow, and protect your canopy from the threats that actually show up on the Gulf Coast.

On a typical Missouri City lot, the trees you see most are  sweetgum, sycamore, water oak, or more. Our certified arborists handle the full scope — pruning, fertilization, structural work, and pest pressure — including:

  • Tree trimming, timed to avoid oak wilt risk
  • Tree removal
  • Deep-root fertilization tuned for our gumbo clay soil
  • Insect and disease management
  • Cabling & bracing for older live oaks and storm-loaded limbs
  • Storm damage cleanup after Gulf Coast storms and hurricane events

Year after year, this is what separates a healthy Missouri City canopy from one quietly losing limbs.

Missouri City Lawn Care Programs

Most Missouri City lawns are some mix of St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Zoysia, and each grass behaves differently in our gumbo clay and Gulf Coast humidity. What looks great in May can fall apart by August if the program isn't dialed in. Our lawn care programs stay on the warm-season grasses calendar that actually keeps Missouri City turf healthy:

  • Soil testing and custom fertilization tuned to gumbo clay
  • Aeration and overseeding timed to our growing season
  • Pre- and post-emergent weed control timed for the Gulf Coast (the first round goes down in mid-February)
  • Chinch bug and grub management — the two pests that wreck a lawn here

Done right, the Missouri City lawn becomes the easiest part of the property to keep up with.

Licensed Pest Control Services

Mosquitoes the moment the sun goes down. Fire ants where the kids play. Roaches that move in the second the weather turns. Gulf Coast pest pressure runs nearly year-round, and a one-time spray won't keep up with it. Our pest control programs create a real barrier around your property and treat the source, not just what you can see crawling around. Here's what's included:

  • Perimeter barrier treatments around your home's foundation
  • Fire ant and mosquito suppression through the long warm season
  • Mosquito, flea, and tick management (especially important after summer storms)
  • Seasonal pest monitoring and prevention through every part of the year

Done on a real schedule, perimeter pest control quietly does its job in the background of every Missouri City yard.

A Company Local To You

Hiring a tree, lawn, or pest service in Missouri City should mean hiring people who actually know the property they're working on. At Joshua Tree Experts, our specialists know Missouri City's soil, our climate, our pest pressure, and the species in your yard. That's a real difference from a national chain rolling through with a generic program built somewhere else.

What Missouri City homeowners get with us is the opposite of the franchise-grade upsell experience: a clear plan, transparent pricing, and a local team that actually shows up when they say they will.

"From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient."
